Tubie Accessories:
There are many online shops offering items that can help your tubie. There are pads that go around the tube site, belts that help prevent the tube being accidentally pulled out, and apparel that has port holes to allow the tubes to go through.
Gtube Pads go around the tube site (even a GJ) and helps prevent the skin from being red and irritated as well as keeps the tube from rotating. When you have a GJ its VERY important to prevent the rotation of the tube because if it rotates the J tube part can back out of the intestines and send the feeds into the stomach.
If your looking for Gtube Pads there are a few shops that I adore:
Sew Amazing Creations is the least expensive on the market. This mom makes and sells her pads for only $1 each. You can get them with the snap button or velcro closure and she offers alot of fabric options. Make sure you let her know if you want the velcro closure because the snap is standard. I have ordered several of her pads and I love them.
Patchwork Peddler's Gtube pads are more on the expensive side and offers different fabric options. The backside of their pads are made out of a terry cloth material that is very soft. They are on the thinner side and do not prevent my sons GJtube button from spinning.
Tubie Whoobies has fun shapes such as, stars, frogs, ribbons, as well as the standard round pads. Her round pads run $3 each. The prices of their unique shapes varies.
Sew Amazing Creations also sells these tubie belts. They offer many material options and cost $20, and $25 for personalized belts.
Patchwork Peddler's tummy belts cost $25.
